New Century Reveals Details of Daoud Abdel Sayed's Out of the Ordinary

With a teaser poster featuring a beguiling shot of Mariam Tamir, New Century has revealed details of its new film Out of the Ordinary by Daoud Abdel Sayed. The film has been wrapped and is currently in the editing stage.

After months of secrecy, initial details of the film's unique storyline have been revealed. Out of the Ordinary follows Yehia, whose scientific investigation of the paranormal yields naught and so takes a forced vacation from his work and regular life. Wandering without aim, he settles in a seaside pension inhabited by a clan of quirky characters. As he grows intimate with the pension owner and close to her charismatic young daughter, Yehia believes he's stumbled across the magic he'd so long sought. Something out of the ordinary seems to exist within them all, and perhaps also within himself.

New Century has also released two stills from the film, while an official Facebook page, under the title قدراتغيرعادية Out of the Ordinary, has been activated to post information and news about the film in its different phases.

Written and directed by Daoud Abdel Sayed, Out of the Ordinary will be distributed by Dollar Film. The film stars Khaled Abol Naga, marking his second collaboration with Abdel Sayed after
A citizen, a detective, and a thief (2001), in addition to Naglaa Badr, Mahmoud El Guindy, Abbas Abu El-Hassan, Hasan Kami, and Ahmed Kamal.
