Layal Watfeh Expands Her Activities in the Arab Region with Commercials for the Red Crescent Society and Three TV Series Scores

Coinciding with the development in her career as a female Music Composer in the Arab region and concurrent with the launching of her new brand identity, Layal Watfeh expands her activity by composing three music scores for TV series to be screened this Ramadan and commercial campaigns for the Red Crescent Society.

Layal is also re-launching her official website that would serve as a database including all her music performances, latest updates and information about upcoming projects in addition to her biography and career history as one of the leading contemporary Arab music composers in the region.

The website is considered the main reference for Layal Watfeh's contributions, along with her official page on the social media platforms; including Sound Cloud on which all her works are uploaded, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ to open the door for a direct interaction with her fans across the Arab world.

Layal Watfeh composes the original music scores for 3 TV series to be screened this Ramadan; namely the Kuwaiti TV series Ka'ab Aalei by Khaled Al Refa'ei, which traces the changes that took place in the GCC community nowadays through highlighting social ethics such as social relationships that lost their value and turned into mere personal interest to attain materialistic goals, Ali El Ali's Hob Wa Laken which marks a comeback for the Qatari drama after a long period of absence, Forsa Taneya; the Middle East version of the Italian TV drama Matrimonio, which is produced by MBC group and follows the everyday life of married couples, in addition to another TV drama, the name of which is not revealed yet.

Believing in the importance of arts to increase the awareness of human initiatives, Layal Watfeh composes the soundtracks of documentaries and campaigns for the Red Crescent society.
Watfeh was among 300 world filmmakers who participated in Berlinale Talents creative laboratory at the Berlin International Film Festival, which aims to look for the most creative filmmakers around the world.

Layal Watfeh has participated in several works as a sound editor and music composer including
films, TV series, TV shows, advertisements, and ten shorts and documentaries, in addition to the TV drama Moga Harra, what premiered last Ramadan. She also worked as a sound designer for
MBC Group.
