Screening During Eid Al-Fitr in 100 Theatres
New Century and Shadows Wrap Ahmed Helmy's Made in Egypt
New Century Production and Shadows Communications announce that the shooting of Ahmed Helmy’s Made in Egypt has been completed. The film will be released during Eid Al-Fitr in 100 theatres across Egypt, marking the most screens to ever showcase an Egyptian film. Made in Egypt will concurrently be screened in the GCC countries, Lebanon, and Jordan.
Distributed by Dollar Film, Made in Egypt is produced by New Century Production and Shadows Communications, marking the second cooperation between New Century and Helmy following Over My Dead Body in 2013.
Directed by Amr Salama and written by Mostafa Helmy, Made in Egypt stars Ahmed Helmy, Yasmin Raeis, Dalal Abdel-Aziz, and Edward.
The film was tentatively named Otn Wa Far during the preparation and shooting stages, and later titled Made in Egypt.
