Snapshot Wins Best Scenario and Best Actor Awards in the 16th African Film Festival


Receiving its 10th award in film festivals, the Egyptian film Snapshot won the Best Scenario for Amr Salama, and Best Actor for Ahmed Fahmi in the 16th African Film Festival of Khouribga.

Produced by Dollar Film (New Century) and directed by Karim Al Adl, Snapshot is a action thriller starringEyad Nassar, Dorra, Horreya Farghali and Ahmed Fahmy. The film tells the story of a photographer who witnesses a murder under mysterious conditions, thinking it was a dream at first; he soon realizes it did occur in real life, raising his suspicions about everyone around him.

The film has previously reaped three awards in the 39th Egyptian Cinema Film Association Festival namely:Best Cinematography for Abdel Salam Moussa, Best Music for Hany Adel and Best Movie Poster Designfor Youssef Adel from Cover Media Company. The film has also received five awards from the Catholic Center Cinema Festival including Best Music, Best Decoration, Creative Certificate to Cinematographer and Sound Engineer, in addition to the Special Jury award for Director Karim Al Adll.
