Coinciding with the publishing of a book on his life, and landing as a festival honoree at the Egyptian National Film Festival, on December 5th, 2014, renowned Film Critic Youssef Cherif Rizkallah launched an official website and a Facebook page where fans and passionate cinephiles will be able to follow Rizkallah's most recent activities and get the latest updates on Egyptian and international cinema.

The 18th Egyptian National Film Festival (5-12 December) selected Rizkallah as a festival honoree and published a book on his life as a tribute to the adept film critic. Written by notable Film Critic/Journalist Mahmoud Abdel-Shakour, the autobiography features a rare collection of works by Rizkallah and integrates a three-session interview with the salient auteur. In addition, a large number of photos and scans of Rizkallah's certificates of recognition is included in the tribute book.

The book features excerpts from his articles in several newspapers, magazines and periodicals, in addition to an interview with Rizkallah. The book also includes quotes from his widely known TV shows, which were presented and arranged by Rizkallah namely; Nogoom Wa Aflam (Stars and Films), Star, Telecinema, Cinema X Cinema and Cinema Rizkallah. Boasting snapshots of Rizkallah's coverage of Cairo International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival editions over the course of 30 years, the book also encompasses comments by critics on his shows and festival coverage.

In addition to Rizkallah, the festival also honored a number of illustrious film figures including the late actress Maali Zayed, Samir Sabri, filmmakers Fouad El-Tohamy and Raafat El-Mihi. The festival was also attended by leading actors and film stars including YehiaEl-Fakharany, Head of the Feature-Length Film Competition, Ilham Chahine, member of the jury, Lebleba, Asser Yassin and others.

The official website features rare personal photos of Rizkallah in addition to certificates of appreciation the prolific critic has attained throughout the years.
