The Curve Takes Part in East End Film Festival in the UK
Director and writer Rifqi Assaf's feature film The Curve continues its tour in film festivals worldwide, landing its European premier at the 15th East End Film Festival (EEFF) in the UK (23 June -3 July 2016). This comes a few days after the film's American premier at the 42nd Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF) in the USA.

Founded in 2000, the East End Film Festival is one of the UK's largest film festivals. An annual multi-platform festival held in London, the EEFF presents a rich and diverse programme of international premieres, industry master classes, free pop-up screenings and immersive live events. The EEFF's mission is to discover, support, and exhibit pioneering work by global and local independent filmmakers, and to introduce viewers to innovative and challenging cinematic experiences.

The Curve had its world premiere within the Muhr Feature Competition within the 12th Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF). In addition, The Curve participated at the 5th Festival International de Cinémaet Mémoire Commune de Nador (International Festival of Common Memory Cinema in Nador) within the Films Long-métrages de Fiction en Competition (Long Feature Films Competition).

Written and directed by Rifqi Assaf, The Curve stars Palestinian star Ashraf Barhoum, Syrian actress Fatina Layla, Lebanese actor Mazen Moadam and Jordanian Ashraf Telfah. The Curve is about Radi, who leads a reclusive life in his own van, finds himself on a road trip with three strangers that alters his clockwork and very private lifestyle.

The film is a joint production between Jordanian Rula Nasser (The Imaginarium Films), Egyptian
Mohamed Hefzy (Film Clinic) and French Xénia Maingo (Eaux Vives Productions). MAD Solutions is handling the film's distribution and marketing worldwide.
