The Arab Cinema Magazine's Fourth Issue Releases at the Berlinale
Within its events at the Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale), the Arab Cinema Center (ACC) will release the fourth issue of its Arab Cinema Magazine, the first English-language publication of its kind specialized in the Arab film industry to address international markets with the aim to shed light on the Arab film industry and its latest rising talents.

The new issue of the Arab Cinema Magazine offers details on the activities of the Arab filmmakers and their whereabouts at the 67th Berlinale, reveals facts about the German-Arab cooperation in the filmmaking industry, in addition to casting light on the presence of the Arab cinema at the Berlinale since its inception, a festival that is regarded as one of the world's oldest and most prestigious festivals. The fourth issue also features an interview with the director of the European Film Market (EFM), Matthijs Wouter Knol.

Film Consultant Colin Brown, Managing Partner and Director of International Operations at MAD Solutions, and also the magazine's Editorial Director, mentioned in his introductory statement of the new issue, "The Arab cinema as a whole: spend the time and money to educate this young workforce of artists and artisans, help absorb them into the regional and global marketplace, and you have a roadmap to sustained prosperity and self-expression. As their talents grow, so will their audiences - and in the process the barriers that keep this world boxed in will start to evaporate."

This issue's topics include: the potential and capabilities of a multi-billion dollar market, the Arab Cinema LAB at the Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF), the Arab film selections at the 2017 International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR), the next wave of Arab stars, and the Arab Cinema Center's achievements at festivals in 2016 and the latest updates on its partners' activities.

The Arab Cinema Center (ACC), organized by MAD Solutions for the third year in 2017, is an international promotional platform for Arab cinema as it provides the filmmaking industry with a professional window to connect with their counterparts from all over the world through a number of events that it organizes. ACC also provides networking opportunities with representatives of companies and institutions specialized in co-production and international distribution, among others.

The Arab Cinema Center's activities vary between film market main wings, introduction and networking sessions for Arab and foreign filmmakers, welcome parties, as well as meetings with international organizations and festivals, and the issuance of the Arab Cinema Magazine to be distributed at the leading international film festivals and markets.
