The festival's film market not only liaises commercial releases for Arab films in European markets, but also opens channels for communication with industry professionals at the Scandinavian community."

Besides the ACC, MAD will screen five films to which the company served as distributor marketing partner within the festival's diverse sections; Hany Khalifa's Sukkar Mor, Warda by Hadi El Bagoury, The Deam of Shahrazad by Francois Verster, Ahmad Al Fishawy's The Chase, The Council by Yahia Al Abdallah and As One by Tricia Regan.

The Arab Cinema Center (ACC) is operating as an international promotional platform for Arab cinema; an active hub that provides Arab filmmakers with a professional window to connect with filmmakers all over the world through organizing a number of networking opportunities with representatives of companies and institutions specialized in co-production, international distribution, regional sales agents, etc.

The Center's activities vary from film screenings inside the Arab film market and meetings with international film organizations during the festival, a reception, and the release of the Arab Cinema Center guide to be distributed among the festival goers.

The Center debuted at the 65th Berlin International Film Festival, promoting 11 film industry institutions, companies and organizations. The 1st ACC received 1500 daily visits, on average, and hosted seven networking sessions that were held with key international industry professionals, such as the Robert Bosch Stiftung (Germany), in addition to connecting with 20 film festivals, including Venice, Berlin, Locarno, Beijing, and Toronto, that were eyeing for a strong Arab participation in their festivals. It is worth noting that the ACC was the only official and physical Arab industry presence at the festival's famed EFM.

The 2nd edition of ACC was launched at the 68th Cannes Film Festival, this time with a 40% increase of partners, reaching to 18 partners. For the Cannes edition, MAD Solutions, the entity behind the ACC, partnered with Variety Magazine, the world's longest-standing entertainment magazine, as its exclusive media partner, as well as Festival Scope online film platform.
