Tamer Karawan Composes the Original Music Score of Embratoreyet Meen?
Prominent Composer Tamer Karawan continues to present more of his remarkable music scores this Ramadan, as this year, he composes the original score of Hend Sabry's Embratoreyet Meen?, marking his second scores following Segn Alnessa.
Directed by Mariam Abu Ouf and written by Ghada Abdel Aal, Embratoreyet Meen? co-stars Mohamed Shahin, Salwa Khatab, Ezzat Abu Ouf and comedian Badrya Tolba.
In a mixture of comedy and tragedy, the TV series satirizes reality, which is what Karawan attempts to
express through music.
Embratoreyet Meen? tracks Amira's family (Hend Sabry) that has just come back to Egypt to face the political and social changes taking place in the Egyptian society for the last few years. The Family consists of her father (Ezzat Abu Ouf), her mother (Salwa Khattab), her husband (Mohamed Shahin), and her brother-in-law (Mohamed Mamdouh) and his wife (Razan Gamal).
Embratoreyet Meen? marks Karawan's second participation in a TV drama this Ramadan after Segn Alnesaa which is directed Kamla Abu Zekry, written by Mariam Naoum, and stars Nelly Karim and Dorra, which is nearly the same team he collaborated with in last year.
In Addition to the TV comedy Heba Regl El Ghorab, Tamer Karawan composed several music scores for TV series in Ramadan 2013 including; Taht El Ard, Zat, El Zoga El Tania, Pharoah. Previously, he took part in many TV series with his remarkable scores, namely; Zai El ward, El Horoub, Taraf Thaleth (2012), Mowaten X (2011).
