Screen Institute Beirut offered a prize to support the film A World not Ours

Screen Institute Beirut offered a prize of $ 5000 to support the theatrical distribution of Mahdi Fleifel'sfilm A world not ours at the closing ceremony of the Festival that SIB supported in different ways.
Screen Institute Beirut's support to Ayam Beirut Festival was reflected in the Festival's main and parallel activities. Five documentaries supported by SIB were selected in the Festival's official program 74 / The reconstitution of a struggle by Rania Rafei & Raed Rafei, "A world not ours" byMahdi Feifel, Embers by Tamara Stepanyan, Infiltrators by Khaled Jarrar and It was better tomorrow by Hinde Boujemaa.
In addition, SIB sponsored the organization of a panel entitled Family Portraits in Arab Documentary
tackling the emergence of this genre of documentaries in the Arab World over the past few years, among which many were supported by SIB's Film Fund.
SIB's was also present in the networking session organized in the frame of "DocMed", the training program for Arab producers organized by Beirut DC in parallel to the Festival.
