Prominent Actress Hend Sabry Participates in the School Feeding Program in Tunisia
Part of her dynamic role as an ambassador for the UN World Food Program (WFP), prominent actress Hend Sabry travels to her homeland Tunisia to participate in developing the School Feeding Program within the WFP, which aims to fight hunger in developing countries, especially the MENA region.

The World Food Program is working on a technical assistance project, supporting Tunisia's Ministry of Education in its efforts to ameliorate the quality of the school meals program, ensuring that the provided school meals include high nutritional values. The project also looks at making a link between school feeding and smallholder farmers. WFP is now looking to start piloting this home grown school feeding aspect in one of the regions of Tunisia.

Highly engaged in humanitarian activities, Hend has been collaborating with the WFP since 2009 to raise awareness about the hunger crisis in the Arab region. For her genuine activeness, she was officially named an ambassador for the UN World Food Program in 2010.
