MoviePigs Kicks off at Arab Film Festival in San Francisco
MoviePigs, an online film streaming platform, has signed a partnership agreement with the Arab Film Festival (AFF) in San Francisco (October 16-25) to announce the official launch of the new platform providing an impressive line-up of Arabic indie films at the opening of the festival. MoviePigs will also reveal a host of several activities at AFF, the details of which will be revealed soon.

MoviePigs is an online platform for independent films, which allows the audience to watch films from around the world and builds communities to promote indie films and the talented filmmakers that made them.

In its early phase, MoviePigs is targeting Arabs residing in the United States and Canada, providing Arabic films with English subtitles to open the doors for Arabs who live abroad and wish to connect with their native culture in addition to all Arabic cinema lovers.

AFF is considered one of the most important showcases of Arab cinema outside the Arab world. It strives to present the best contemporary films that provide insight into the beauty, complexity and diversity of the Arab world alongside realistic perspectives on Arab people, culture, art, history and politics. This year's festival, the 19th edition, will be held throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, October 16-25.
