Starring a staggering array of stars, director Hani Khalifa starts shooting Sukkar Mor, which is produced by Dr. Mohamed Manzoor's MANZ Pictures. Sukkar Mor brings back Hani Khalifa in the director's chair after a 10-year-hiatus, following his cinema hit Sahar El Layaly which garnered critical acclaim and was a great success.

Commenting on establishing his own film production company, producer Mohamed Manzoor says, "I strongly believe that films and cinema are essential advocates for cultural change in Egypt, which is what has propelled me to establish Manz Pictures Company and start on Sukkar Mor. In my opinion, films can thoroughly transform our every-day routine and change our perspectives towards culture in general, for this reason I'm quite confident that Manz Pictures will produce films which can play essential role in developing our community. In this aim, we tended to collaborate with fresh promising faces and young stars who proved to have adept acting prowess in impersonating their characters. Furthermore, the roles played are considered a gigantic challenge for each one of them".

Commenced shooting on Saturday, August 23rd, 2014, Sukkar Mor is written by Mohamed Abdel Mo'ty, and stars Ahmed El-Fishawy, Haitham Ahmed Zaki, Ayten Amer, Shery Adel, Nahed El Sebai, Amina Khalil, Nabil Essa, Karim Fahmy, Omar El Saeed and Sarah Shahin.
