MOEZ THE END OF THE TUNNEL Receives The Directing Award At Maghreb Film Festival OUJDA
Feature film MOEZ THE END OF THE TUNNEL, by Mohamed Ali Nahdi, receives the Directing Award in the official competition at the 11th Maghreb Film Festival OUJDA in Morocco. The festival was held on October 7 and ended yesterday. 
 
The film joins within days of the 16th CINÉALMA in France on October 15th, Saturday. The film was commercially released last February in Tunisian cinemas. Also, it was exceptionally screened commercially in France, Venice, Hollywood, London, and Montreal, Canada during the current year..
 
Moez is a 25 years old young man who lives with his mother and his little sister in a disreputable district of Tunis. Moez, a delusional person, is arrested and taken to the police station where he meets Hassen, a radical Islamist coming from France, who will turn his life upside down…
 
MOEZ THE END OF THE TUNNEL is Mohamed Ali Nahdi’s first feature film, co-written by Slim Ben Ismail. The film stars Seif Mannai, Akrem Sakkouhi Mag, Lamine Nahdi and Leila Chebbi. The film is produced by Zenith Production, while MAD Solutions manages the distribution in the Arab world. 
 
Mohamed Ali Nahdi is a Tunisian actor and director. He started his career very early. After getting many roles in television and cinema, he traveled to Paris to study cinema at the conservatoire libre du cinéma Français where he obtained his diploma as an editor. After 3 years of schooling, he returned home and worked in several Tunisian and foreign films, including BLACK GOLD, co-starring Antonio Banderas.
 
In 2008, he directed his first short film THE PROJECT, chosen to participate in several festivals, including Clermont-Ferrand, France, followed by two short films. Lately, he finished his first TV drama, THE BLACK BOX. In 2018, he directed FATUM, the Young Audience Award winner at the Montpellier International Festival of Mediterranean Film, France.
