MAD Solutions Takes Part in Aarhus Arab Film Festival in Denmark with Two Films
MAD Solutions is set to participate in the Aarhus Arab Film Festival in Denmark (October 2-7) with two films from its distribution list: Blue Elephant: Dark Whispers by director Marwan Hamed and the Saudi film Roll'em by Abdulelah Alqurashi. The screening times will take place as follows; Blue Elephant: Dark Whispers on Saturday, 3 October at 6 PM (GMT +2) and Roll'em on Sunday, 4 October at 6 PM.

Aarhus Arab Film Festival is the first official festival co-organized by the Ministry of Culture, Danish film organizations, and Danish Municipalities. Its goal is to show the vast diversity of the Arab world by screening a selection of Arab films to provide an insight into the varied and rich Arab culture.

About Blue Elephant: Dark Whispers:

Five years after the events in the first film, Dr. Yehia Rashid is summoned to the female-only ward no. 8, where he meets someone who messes up his life and his family's life. In his attempt to take control of his life and solve this new mystery, Yehia seeks the help of the Blue Elephant pills.

Blue Elephant: Dark Whispers brings together the same cast and crew of the first film, including director Marwan Hamed, screenwriter Ahmed Mourad, DOP Ahmad Al Morsy, Editor Ahmed Hafez, Costume Designer Nahed Nasrallah, Music Composer Hesham Nazih, Production Designer Mohamed Attia, along with Producer Ahmad Badawy, Director of Synergy Films that is founded by Producer Tamer Morsi.

The film stars Karim Abdelaziz and Nelly Karim, along with new cast members joining the sequel; Hend Sabry, Eyad Nassar, Shereen Reda, and Tara Emad. It is distributed worldwide by MAD Solutions and Misr International Films (MIF), and MAD Solutions handles the film's marketing.

About Roll'em:

The film tells the story of Omar Nizar, a filmmaker in his early thirties. He is trying to make a film about Jeddah, but Omar is unaware of what Jeddah means to him and the difficulties of filmmaking in the Kingdom until he gets to know the 70-year-old DOP, Farid Lotfy who gave up his passion for cinematography is devoted to his antiques’ shop.

Roll'em is an independent film with a Saudi cast and crew. The film has recently won the Best Film Award at the 1st Al Ain Film Festival. The film was released in Saudi theaters through VOX Cinemas in Jeddah and Riyadh in 2019.

Written and directed by Abdulelah Alqurashi, co-written by Yaser Hammad, Roll'em stars Khaled Yeslam, Shaher Al Qurashi and Sarah Taibah. MAD Solutions distributes the film across the Arab world.
