MAD Solutions Joins Yasmine Hammamet International Film Festival in Tunisia With 3 Films
MAD Solutions is set to join the inaugural edition of Yasmine Hammamet International Film Festival in Tunisia, which will take place from  4 to 11 June, with three films.  The films are THE ANGER by Maria Ivanova Z, which will be screened in the presence of the director, CORPUS CHRISTI by director Jan Komasa, and NOOR by Rim Nakhli.
 
About THE ANGER:
The plot of the film follows Ida, a young Lebanese girl, who flees her small village and her alcoholic mother in post-war Lebanon and goes to the big city. There, she starts dating a European man not knowing what is in store for her.
 
The ANGER has previously landed its world premiere at Carthage Film Festival (JCC) and was featured at Beirut International Women Film Festival (BWFF) and San Diego Arab Film Festival. It is directed by Maria Ivanova Z., who co-wrote it with Olga Artemyeva, and stars Manal Issa, Aurélien Chaussade, Houssam Sabbah, and Julia Kassar. MAD Solutions handles the film’s distribution in the Arab region and world-wide.
 
About  CORPUS CHRISTI:
The Polish film CORPUS CHRISTI was nominated for an Academy Award for Best International Feature. It won over 50 awards at international film festivals, including the Venice International Film Festival, Polish International Film Festival, Chicago International Film Festival, Stockholm Film Festival, and the Polish Film Festival in America. Furthermore, the film was one of the three films nominated for the Arab Critics’ Awards for European Films.
 
The film’s plot follows  20-year-old Daniel who experiences a spiritual transformation while living in a Youth Detention Center. Though his crime denies him the opportunity to officially learn to serve as clergy, he pursues his dream by dressing as a priest and ministering a small-town parish.
 
Directed by Jan Komasa and written by Mateusz Pacewicz, CORPUS CHRISTI stars Tomasz Zietek, Leszek Lichota, Bartosz Bielenia, Aleksandra Konieczna, and Barbara Kurzaj. The film is produced by Aurum Film, WFS Walter Film Studio, Canal+ Poland, Podkapracki Region Fund and Les Contes Modernes. It was co-financed by Polish Film Institute and CNC Cinemas Du Monde – Institut Francais. MAD Solutions handles the film’s distribution in the Arab world.
 
About NOOR:
Nour and Adem set off in search of their father, who they have not seen for a long time. Eager to meet their father, they cross the city to reach the meeting place, but he doesn’t show up.
 
Previously landing its world premiere at Locarno Festival, Noor also was selected at a number of festivals, including Cairo International Film Festival (CIFF) and Zurich Film Festival, and Carthage Film Festival. Written and directed by Rim Nakhli, and produced by Inside Productions (Moncef Taleb), Noor stars Nour El Houda Habbessi and Ayoub Behi. MAD Solutions handles the film’s distribution in the Arab region.
