As the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences® comes close to announcing the Academy Award® winning films on Sunday, February 28th, MAD Solutions has decided to re-release director Naji Abu Nowar's Oscar®-nominated Jordanian film Theeb in Arab cinemas.

Offering Arab audiences the opportunity to watch Jordanian director Naji Abu Nowar's film, MAD Solutions, Theeb's distributor, will release the film in many Arab countries namely; Lebanon, in Metropolis cinema, Beirut on Sunday, February 7th for 10 days; Egypt in Zawya cinema in Cairo on Sunday, February 14th for 1 day; Tunisia on Thursday, February 24th for one week, UAE in VOX Yas Mall cinema in Abu Dhabi on Thursday, February 25th for 1 week, Oman, in MGM City Cinemas in Muscat on Thursday, February 25th for 1 week; Qatar, in Museum of Islamic Arts in Doha on Friday, February 26th for 1 day and Kuwait, in Cinescape in Kuwait City on Thursday, March 17th for 1 week. More information will be revealed about the film's release in other Arab countries on later date

Theeb's return to cinemas comes after its successful commercial run in 11 Arab countries in 2015; an astounding achievement by a non-Egyptian Arab film. MAD Solutions will continue to release the film in cinemas until the Oscar® winning films are finally announced.

Theeb is Jordanian director/writer Naji Abu Nowar's first feature film which he co-scripted with Bassel Ghandour. Set in the Arabian Desert of 1916, the film follows Theeb, a young Bedouin boy, and his brother Hussein as they leave the safety of their tribe to venture on a treacherous journey at the dawn of the Great Revolt. If Theeb is to survive he must quickly learn about adulthood, trust and betrayal.
