John Ikram’s LE AWEL MARRA is set to both world premiere and compete in the Official Competition of the 14th Luxor African Film Festival, taking place from January 9th to the 14th, 2025.
 
Khaled and Ghada live a happy love story that suddenly turns into a nightmare when Khaled discovers a dangerous secret and decides to confront his wife about it. This ignites a night full of suspicion, violence, and mutual accusations of betrayal, unveiling deep tensions in their relationship.
 
Starring the captivating actress and model Tara Emad in her first leading role alongside Omar El-Shenawy, Nabil Issa, Rania Mansour, Aida Riyad, and Phaedra, The film is produced by Raafat Thomas and was written by Mohamed Abdel Qader.
 
The Luxor African Film Festival is one of the region's most prominent film festivals. Its management includes the festival's Honorary President artist Mahmoud Hemida, Festival President screenwriter Sayed Fouad, and Festival Manager director Azza El-Husseini.
