Khalid Alharbi’s 90 DAYS to make its return to Kuwait, screen at JACC
The Saudi film 90 DAYS – which was directed by Khalid Alharbi – will be screening once more in Kuwait’s Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmed Cultural Center (JACC) on Tuesday, November 8th at 8 pm. 
 
Previously, the film was commercially released in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
 
The JACC Theatre Independent Cinema Project is a comprehensive cinema space that will offer a monthly program of independent cinema from around the world. The space will be an integral part of the theater project, serving as a cultural arena promoting local, regional, and international arts of varying disciplines.
 
The film – which was produced by Afkar Algad for Artistic Production is a dramatic comedy that follows the story of a doctor, Sarah, who searches for the right man to marry. Upon finding him, she fights with several people to keep him in her life, however, she later discovers that he’s hiding an interesting secret. The film presents some of Saudi society’s traditions and thorny issues in a comical way.
 
90 DAYS was written and directed by Khalid Alharbi and produced by Faisal Alharbi. The cast of 90 DAYS includes a number of well-known Saudi actors and actresses, including Faisal Al-Zahrani, Marwa Mohamed, Muhammad Al-Hashi, Fay Fouad, Badr Al-Matrafi, Wedd Osama, along with veteran Saudi celebrities Sanaa Bakr Younis, Abdul Aziz Alsokayreen, and Khalid Alharbi
 
MAD Solutions is managing the film’s distribution in cooperation with Rowad Media for Production and Distribution.
 
Khalid Alharbi is a writer who participated in several Saudi and Arab projects, making his breakthrough as a writer through the 12-season kids' show BABA FARHAN
 
Alharbi is also one of a few Saudi actors who broke out of the Saudi space to take part in other non-Saudi projects across the Arab region, building a repertoire that includes more than 100 acting roles. 
 
Furthermore, he won a number of awards, including the Golden Award from the Gulf Radio and Television Festival for his series AYAM W LAIALY and the Best Screenplay Award for his film National Dialogue at the Jeddah Film Festival
 
Additionally, he received recognition from various prestigious institutions – including the Saudi Ministry of Media – for all of the works he devoted to children and from the International Festival of Universities for his contribution to the country’s university theaters.
