In The Land Of Wonder Film Project Takes Part at the IFF within the Toronto International Film Festival
The International Financing Forum (IFF) (September 11-12) revealed the news on selecting producer
Mohamed Hefzy's new film project In The Land Of Wonder to participate within its events that will be held within the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). Producers Mohamed Hefzy and Jennifer Peterson will be attending the IFF representing Film Clinic, the producing company.
In The Land Of Wonder film project is the adaptation of the English writer Lewis Carroll's novel Alice in Wonderland which has been translated into many languages. Written by Nora Elsheikh and Mahmoud Ezzat, In The Land Of Wonder is a Cairo-set version of the novel that plunging the main character into the chaos of the city's streets. The film is directed by Nadine Khan.
For two days, the International Financing Forum (IFF) in collaboration with the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) will host 20 Canadian and 20 international English-language features. Within the forum, selected international and Canadian producers are brought together with international sales agents, distributors, funders, and executive producers. Since its founding in 2006, the IFF has introduced 408 film projects to the international marketplace with over 60 successfully financed to date, including
Haiffa Al-Mansour's Wadjda.
