MAD Solutions joins the 'Where Do We Go Now' program organized by EYE Film Museum in the Netherlands with four films distributed or promoted by the company. The films are; Coming Forth by Day by Hala Lotfy, Harag W' Marag by Nadine Khan, Villa 69 by Ayten Amin and the Palestinian documentary My Love Awaits Me by the Sea by Mais Darwazah.

Held between June 5 - 21, Where Do We Go Now program features films by prominent modern female filmmakers, first or second films or second films by up and coming filmmakers, documentaries, films starring famous actresses and films that challenge existing conceptions of democracy, freedom of expression, emancipation and religion in the Arab world.

EYE houses the largest film library in the Netherlands of more than 40 thousands film from different nationalities and types can be considered as a scale model of the history of cinema. Where Do We Go Now is one of the programmes organized by the museum for the audience all over the year.

Coming Forth by Day is written and directed by Hala Lotfy, produced by Hassala Films and co-produced by NY Consultancy. The film was supported by the Berlinale World Cinema Fund, an initiative of the German Federal Cultural Foundation and the Berlin International Film Festival. Coming Forth by Day tells the story of a poor family living in one of the most shabby neighborhoods on the outskirts of Cairo. The pillar of the family, a single 30-year-old woman (Donia Maher), finds it difficult to express her feelings and dreams, while she spends her time only taking care of her wheelchair-bound father (Ahmed Lotfy) and mother (Salma Al-Naggar) who works as a nurse.

Marking Nadine Khan's feature directorial debut, Harag W' Marag is produced and edited by Dina Farouk, written and directed by Nadine Khan, screenplay by Mohamed Nasser, and stars Ayten Amer, Mohamed Farag, Ramzi Lehner, Hani EL Metenawy, Osama Attia, the great Sabry Abdel Menem and Sayed Ragab.

Harag W' Marag (Chaos, Disorder) is a social drama that tells the story of lost love in a controversial setting; Zaki (Farrag), Mounir(Lehner) and Manal (Ayten Amer) are in their twenties, and living in a confined community where basic needs are met yet chaos and disorder brew. The two boys are in love with the same girl who finds herself the subject of a bet for a football match between them, the winner marries Manal. This story reflects a football and play-station youth and how they deal with their emotions in a community that is increasingly closed off and isolated.

Villa 69 is Ayten Amin's directorial debut. Written by Muhammad El-Hajj with Mahmoud Ezzat, and co-produced by Film Clinic and Middle West Films of Wael Omar the film stars Khaled abol Naga, Arwa Gouda and the star Lebleba.

Villa 69 follows Hussein, a man living in isolation in his house. Characters from his past begin to invade his solitary lifestyle; his life witnesses drastic changes following the encounter with his sister and nephew, Seif. As a result, gradual and yet radical changes in his dogmatic view of life begin to emerge.

My Love Awaits Me by the Sea is the first feattture-length documentary which is inspired by the artist and writer Hasan Hourani's wondrous reveries, this poetic, first-person essay chronicles filmmaker Mais Darwazah's first-ever visit to her homeland, Palestine.

Fairytale and reality are woven together to ask the question of "How do you return to a place that only exists in your mind?", "How do you keep fighting for life when you're surrounded by so much death?", "How can you continue believing in a dream when the outside world lives another reality?" And "how can you own your version of the truth when history has taken it from you?"

This film pays tribute to Hasan Hourani, a Palestinian artist who, with his imagination, rises above the Occupation. Hourani completed "Hasan is Everywhere", a children's book of illustration and poetry, just before his tragic death by drowning in the forbidden sea of Jaffa in 2003.
