The Arab Cinema Center (ACC) returns to the Cannes Film Festival with the 26th edition of "Arab Cinema Magazine." The cover features legendary star Hussein Fahmy, winner of the Center’s Personality of the Year award, alongside Vincenzo Bugno, recipient of the Game Changer Award. This edition provides a comprehensive vision of the forces, personalities, and films shaping the features of Arab cinema on the global stage in 2025.
 
This year’s special Cannes issue celebrates the resilience and evolution of Arab cinema and its growing international footprint through exclusive interviews, industry reports, and festival tracking, while highlighting the most influential voices and rising talents in the region. The issue sheds light on promising Arab film projects expected to stand out in upcoming festivals, in addition to reviewing the latest achievements of the Arab Cinema Center’s partners. It also continues its annual tradition of documenting the journey of Arab films in major international festivals during the year preceding Cannes, including a detailed statistical report that examines Arab co-productions and the role of regional and international cooperation in the industry's sustainability.
 
Furthermore, the issue celebrates the launch of the 10th edition of the Critics' Awards for Arab Films and the announcement of the nominees. It features topics covering the Center’s award winners: Personality of the Year Hussein Fahmy, and the inaugural Game Changer Award winner Vincenzo Bugno, former head of the Berlinale World Cinema Fund. It also honors the winners of the Lifetime Achievement Award in Film Criticism, Egyptian critic Tarek El Shinnawi and Turkish critic Alin Taşçıyan.
 
Additionally, the issue features the "101 Most Influential Figures in Arab Cinema" list, revealing a long record of achievements accomplished by these figures over the past twelve months within the film industry of the Arab world.
