Hugh Jackman Claws Back to Egyptian Theatres in The Wolverine

United Motion Pictures released in 3D theatres today the highly anticipated The Wolverine, the second film in the spinoff series of the famous clawed superhero. Hugh Jackman, who originated the role of the immortal mutant in 2000, stars for the sixth time as Wolverine.
Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine, the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world he faces his ultimate nemesis in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than we have ever seen him before.
Since it's release the film has earned over US$320 million in box office sales worldwide. The Wolverine is the second film in the X-Men spinoff series that follows the story of Logan/Wolverine played by Hugh Jackman. The first film, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, was released in 2009 following the international success of the original X-Men trilogy, which earned over a $1.1 billion worldwide. The success of the franchise continued with X-Men: First Class in 2011, with a planned sequel X-Men: Days of Future Past.
The Wolverine is produced and stars Hugh Jackman and directed by James Mangold, director of Girl,Interrupted, Walk the Line and Knight and Day. The film was released in 3D theatres by United Motion Pictures, the biggest film distributor in the Arab world, and the sole distributor of 20th Century Fox films in Egypt.
