Hend Sabry to Be Honored by Al-Anba Newspaper in Kuwait
Tunisian superstar Hend Sabry has flown to Kuwait to attend a ceremony organized by Al-Anba Newspaper where she will be honored for her oeuvre in TV and film. Commenting on the news, Hend stated: "I am pleased with this recognition in particular. It is amazing to see the result of my work in television and cinema through this honoring ceremony led by such a renowned and influential newspaper as Al-Anba, and in Kuwait; a country which pioneered Arab drama".

Hend is currently preparing to join the Ramadan season with her upcoming TV series Halawet El Donia alongside Tunisian actor Dhafer L'Abidine. She will also collaborate with director Sherif Arafa on his film The Treasure (El Kenz), which will be released in 2017.

Hend's most recent film The Flower of Aleppo, co-produced by Sabry's recently established production house Salam PROD as the company's debut film project, opened the 27th Carthage Film festival.

The 23-award-winning star was part of many juries, and held administrative and honorary positions at international festivals. She was selected as Honorary President of the International Arab Film Festival in Gabès. In 2012, Sabry took part in the 2nd TROPFEST Arabia, the world's largest short film festival, as the Festival Co-director. In the same year, the renowned actress headed the Feature Narrative Jury at the Doha Tribeca Film Festival.
