Within the Netherlands- Flemish Institute in Cairo (NVIC) cinema programme, Nadine Khan's Harag W' Marag will be screened on Sunday 22 November. Held at the NVIC in Zamalek in two halls, the screening is free of charge and seats are allocated on a first come/first serve basis.

Marking Nadine Khan's feature directorial debut, Harag W' Marag is produced and edited by Dina Farouk. The film is written by Khan, with a script by Mohamed Nasser and stars Ayten Amer, Mohamed Farrag, Ramsi Lehner, Hani El Metnawi, Osama Atiya, Sabry Abdel Monemand Sayed Ragab. WIKA for Film Production and Distribution is the film's production company and MAD Solutions is handling Harag W' Marag's distribution worldwide.

Harag W' Marag (Chaos, Disorder) is a social drama that tells the story of lost love in a controversial setting; Zaki (Farrag), Mounir (Lehner) and Manal (Ayten Amer) are in their twenties, and living in a confined community where basic needs are met yet chaos and disorder brew. The two boys are in love with the same girl who finds herself the subject of a bet for a football match between them, the winner marries Manal. This story reflects a football and play-station youth and how they deal with their emotions in a community that is increasingly closed off and isolated.

The NVIC screening comes after Harag W' Marag's successful tour in international festivals reaping several awards and accolades, followed by an Egyptian theatrical screening. Last September, Nadine Khan's Harag W' Marag film ran exclusively on ART in Eid Al Adha.

Harag W' Marag has taken part in several global film festivals and received numerous awards including a Special Jury Award from Dubai International Film Festival, which hosted its world premiere in 2012. The film earned its director Nadine Khan the Golden Dagger award for Best Director from Muscat International Film Festival and won the Grand Prix from the Arab Film Festival of Oran. Harag W' Marag also received the Best Film award, Best Screenplay award for Mohamed Nasser and Best Editing for Dina Farouk from the 62nd Egyptian Catholic Center Cinema Festival. Nadine Khan's feature also received the Sami El- Salamoni Award for Innovation and Creativity from the Egyptian Film Association Festival.
