Giving Guidance on Finding the Right Job for Youth
Following the successful launch in May, 2013, Shoghlana rolls out its second issue.

Shoghlana is the first non-profit newspaper that seeks to highlight topics related to blue-collar jobs and workers. The newspaper aims to promote self-appreciation and self-empowerment of blue-collar workers as well as to enhance the societal appreciation of workers in general.

The second issue of the newspaper aims to support the blue-collar job seekers to determine the right job or career path according to their qualifications and skills. Shoghlana also provides some tips for the aspiring job seekers to increase the chances of getting the job, in addition to a guide of several institutions that provide training and recruitment services.

This issue highlights the points of strengths and weaknesses of working in the field of printing. The "success story" feature is of Hani Salam, a blue-collar worker who now owns one of the most successful printing houses in Egypt. The issue also includes information on the future of recruitment in the field of printing. Furthermore, the issue includes articles on the rights and duties of an employee at work.

Shoghlana is published by MAD Solutions in cooperation with the Project Promotion of Blue Collar jobs (PBC) by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. The newspaper's content is created and designed by MAD Solutions.

Shoghlana is a free-of-charge publication, targeting blue-collar workers and will be published every two months. The content of the newspaper is tailored for blue-collar workers.
