Five MAD films to screen at the 4th Maghreb Film Festival
MAD Solutions’ films continue to screen at local and international film festivals, with three films from its distribution slate set to be screened at the fourth edition of the Maghreb Film Festival, which will take place in Haarlem, Holland, between March 9th and 12th.

These films are the short film FATUM along with the feature films MOEZ THE END OF THE TUNNEL by Mohamed Ali Nahdi, EVEN GOD WON'T FORGIVE by Karim Berrhouma, SOULA by Salah Issaad, and HALIM EL RAAD by Mohamed Benabdallah.

Here’s a more detailed look into these three MAD films:
FATUM (Competition)
The film follows Nejib — a Tunisian painter in his 30s who spends most of his time painting in his studio. After coming back home following several days of absence, he finds a surprise awaiting him.

The film is written, directed, and stars Mohamed Ali Nahdi, and co-stars Zohra Chtioui and Moncef Agegmi. Fatum is co-produced by Zenith Production (Mohamed Ali Nahdi) and SVP (Omar Ben Ali) and is being distributed and marketed by MAD Solutions.

MOEZ THE END OF THE TUNNEL (Competition)
Moez is a 25-year-old young man who lives with his mother and his little sister in a disreputable district of Tunis. Moez, who is delusional, is arrested and taken to the police station, where he meets Hassen — a radical Islamist coming from France who will turn his life upside down.

MOEZ THE END OF THE TUNNEL is Mohamed Ali Nahdi’s first feature film that he co-wrote with Slim Ben Ismail. The film stars Seif Mannai, Akrem Sakkouhi Mag, Lamine Nahdi, and Leila Chebbi. It is also produced by Zenith Production and distributed in the Arab World by MAD Solutions.

EVEN GOD WON'T FORGIVE (Official Selection)
The film follows the story of Tunisia's most infamous serial killer — the man behind the murder of 13 children in the 1980s and the last convict to be executed in the country.

EVEN GOD WON'T FORGIVE was written and directed by Karim Berrhouma. Produced by Mejdi Housseini, Sameh Smaoui, and Nabil Chaouech's RED DOG FX, the film stars Ahmed Landolsi, Hedi Mejri, Bilel Slatnia, Maysa Sassi, Fathi Akkeri, Moncef Ajengui, Imen Mannai, Fakher Wahchi, Moez Baatour, and Neji Marouani. MAD Solutions is managing the film's distribution in the Arab world.

SOULA
SOULA is the story of a single mother expelled by her father, leaving her homeless with her baby. Searching for a safe place to spend the night, Soula finds herself hitchhiking from one car to the next with strangers. After a night of unfortunate events on Algerian roads, Soula tries her best to change her fate. However, fate has other plans.

Written, directed, and produced by Salah Issaad, SOULA is co-written by Soula Bahri, whose life story inspired the director to turn it into a film and cast Soula in the lead role.

The film stars Soula Bahri, Idir Benaibouche, and Franck Yvrai. Issaad Film Productions —  the three brothers Taqi Eldin, Abdelghafour, and Salah Issaad — produced the film, while MAD Solutions manages its marketing and distribution in the Arab world.

HALIM EL RAAD
A young man with intellectual disabilities named Halim lives with his single mother, who has a hard time providing for him.

HALIM EL RAAD is written and directed by Mohamed Benabdallah and stars Anas Tnah and Dalila Nawar. MAD Solutions manages the film’s distribution in the Arab world.
