Films Vying for the 6th Malmo Arab Film Festival Awards Are Revealed
The Malmö Arab Film Festival revealed the list of films vying for the awards of its 6th edition (September 30 - October 5, 2016) with eight films in the Feature Competition, eight documentaries in the Documentary Competition, and 12 films in the Short Film Competition. Nawara by Hala Khalil was selected as the opening film of the Feature Competition and Hepta: The Last Lecture by Hadi El Bagoury was chosen to close the same competition.

The Malmö Arab Film Festival is dedicated to screening films from across the Arab world for the different communities, about 175 different nationalities, living in Sweden. The festival will welcome thousands of cinema-goers from Malmö and the region as well as famous actors, directors, producers and film professionals to enjoy the year's greatest films from the Arab world.
