Eight days before its release in Egyptian theatres, MAD Solutions, the film's distributor, held Factory Girl's press and media screening yesterday, Tuesday, March 11th, 2014. Taking place at Renaissance Nile City
Cinema, the screening was attended by print and broadcast media with the presence of great Director Mohamed Khan, Producer Mohamed Samir and Yasmin Raeis, the film's leading actress.
Following the press screening, presenter Dina Abdel Rahman praised the film saying, "Factory Girl is a great film and I was deeply touched by it and how it portrays Egyptian women and girls down to the simplest and most beautiful detail. Lameece Al Hadidi said, "The film moved me, which is something that director Mohamed Khan does with his films, with his use of Soad Hosni's songs, cinematography, the heroine's acting, the meticulously written script and the costume design, which are all details we are currently missing in our films".
Critic Safaa Al Laithi considers that every screening of the film becomes a different experience, she went on to say, "This is the second time I have seen the film after seeing it in Luxor, and each time I discover something new.
