Egyptian Star Ahmad Al Fishawy starts filming for his part in the new film Al-Qerd Beytkalem, which brings him together with Amr Waked for the second time after the film Genenet Al Asmak (The Aquarium), along with the well-known Egyptian star Sayed Ragab. The film is set to be helmed by director Peter Mimi.

On his new role for Al Qerd Beytkalem, Al Fishawy stated," I'm very excited to work with Peter Mimi, and for the second time with Amr Waked after Genenet Al Asmak (The Aquarium), and I'm really pleased with being actively involved in the Egyptian movie scene this year where I will be giving my all."

In Al Qerd Beytkalem, Al Fishawy and Waked play two magician brothers, who have a magic trick up their sleeves that will free their innocent father from prison.

Egyptian star Ahmad Al Fishawy has previously announced the news regarding his lead role in a romantic comedy film, El Lea'ba Shemal, along with Ghada Abdel Razek and Nahed El Sebai. The film will be directed by Mustafa Abu Saif, who recently took over directing the film. El Lea'ba Shemal is scripted by the late director/writer Medhat El Sebaie before his death. The film is produced by Nahed Farid Shawki marking her comeback to Egyptian cinema after a 13-year hiatus.

Al Fishawy is also taking part this year in the new film Albino, which is co-written by Sherif El Alfie and Somaya El Alfy, and produced by Sameh El-Agamy's Image Production Company.
