Don't Judge a Subject by Its Photograph Participates in 7th Gulf Film Festival
Acclaimed Emirati Filmmaker Ali Mostafa's short, Don't Judge a Subject by its Photograph takes part in the 7th Gulf Film Festival (GFF), running from April 9th to April 15th, 2014.

Don't Judge a Subject by its Photograph competes in the Gulf Films Competition - Shorts Category, including films by directors from across the world who have projects with a connection to the Gulf region.
Recently the GFF's administration announced that the festival will take place at Dubai Community Theatre & Arts Centre (DUCTAC), Dubai's only non-profit art centre, and Vox Cinemas, both based in Mall of the Emirates, Dubai.

Ali Mostafa's Don't Judge a Subject by Its Photograph participated in the 10th Dubai International Film Festival within the Muhr Emirati award for short films as part of the Muhr Emirati Competition for Short Films. The film was screened at Dubai Film Connection's Cinetech through MAD Solutions, the company serving as the film's distributor and marketing consultant. Cinetech is a digital video library includes more than 400 films, designed for sales agents, distributors and rights holders.

Written and directed by Ali Mostafa, Don't Judge a Subject by Its Photograph discusses Dubai's buzzing art scene. Gallerist Maha is trying to make a good impression on Indian writer Bobby Dhillon, Dubai's most infamous art critic. Bobby Dhillon is yet to write a good review on any local gallery based in Dubai. Young enthusiastic Emirati Amal, is an amateur photographer who's been recognized by her Professors as a gifted young lady, and is discovered by Maha. Amal manages to capture one photograph which changes Bobby Dhillons view on Maha's gallery, and the local art scene as a whole.
