Dhaffer L'Abidine is having a prominent presence on the Arab entertainment map with his new series I Need a Man, which will be aired on OSN starting from the 24th of May 2015. The 60-episode series is split between two seasons, the second airing in Ramadan 2015.

I Need a Man is based on the novel with the same name written by Noor Abdul Majeed, and revolves around an ensemble of women in search of the man who will give them eternal bliss.

The screenplay is by Shahira Sallam and the series is directed by Batoul Arafa and Ahmed Moustafa, starring Dhaffer L'Abidine, Eyad Nassar, Ahmed Abdelaziz, Merna El Mohandes, Dina Fouad, Mai Kassab and Ragaa El Geddawy.

At Dhaffer L'Abidine was a bit skeptical about the series, it being too long, but he was instantly drawn into the project after he read the screenplay, which he describes as "intricately woven and abundant with twists."


With airing of I Need a Man, Dhaffer L'Abidine further solidifies his presence in the Egyptian Dramathon during the Ramadan season, as he participated in several distinctive such as; Farq Tawqeet (2014), Niran Sadeeqa (2013) and Vertigo (2012).
