Dhafer L'Abidine Denies Rumors of Starring in the film Geziret El Ghofran by Reda Al Bahi
Tunisian star Dhafer L'Abidine has denied the rumors spreading over multiple social media platforms and newspapers that he will be starring in Tunisian director Reda Al Bahi's new film Geziret El Ghofran. L'Abidine confirmed that he is currently shooting his scenes for the American TV series North 40, and has been offered a number of roles, but is still considering his options.

Many media channels have spread rumors that L'Abidine has agreed to star in the film Geziret El Ghofran by Reda Al Bahi alongside a number of other stars, besides, it was announced that he is taking part in Ana Shahira... Ana El Kha'en TV series, but L'Abidine has denied taking part in any of these works.

Last month, Tunisian star Dhafer L'Abidine started shooting his scenes for the American TV series North 40. The series is based on the book The Looming Tower written by Lawrence Wright. The book, that received 15 awards and honorable mentions including the Pulitzer Prize, offers a historical look at the way in which Al-Qaeda came into being and the events that led to the September 11 attacks.

The shooting will take place between the USA and South Africa. North 40 features Alec Baldwin, Jeff Daniels, Samer Bisharat and Tahar Rahim, and produced by Hulu.
It's worth mentioning that L'Abidine starred in two of last Ramadan's TV series; Halawat Al Dounia by Hussein El-Minabbawi,and Caramel by Elie F. Habib, which were among the most-watched series and received wide media attention.

Halawat Al Dounia stars Dhafer L'Abidine, Hend Sabry, Hanan Motawie, Anoushka and Ragaa Al-Giddawy. The TV series is directed by Hussein El-Minabbawi, written by Sama Ahmed and Engy Kassem, under the supervision of screenwriter Tamer Habib, and produced by Beelink Productions and Eagle Films.

Together with L'Abidine, Caramel features stars Maguy Bou Ghosn, Talal El Jordi, Jessy Abdo, Carmen Lebbos and Carine Salameh. Caramel is directed by Elie F. Habib, written by Mazen Taha and produced by Eagle Films. The TV series marks the second collaboration between L'Abidine and Lebanese actress Maguy Bou Ghosn after 24 Qirat TV series. Caramel tells a number of love stories with strange and interesting events.
