Dhafer L'Abidine Begins Shooting the New TV Series Al Khoroug

Through his official Facebook page, Tunisian star Dhafer L'Abidine revealed shooting his new TV drama Al Khoroug, which is set to premiere on TV channels next Ramadan.

Written by Mohamed El Safty, Al Khoroug is directed by Mando El Adl, produced by Aroma Pictures, and co-stars Sherif Salama, alongside Dhafer L'Abidine.
Dhafer L'Abidine has always demonstrated strong performances and has collected an array of awards for his portrayals in some of the biggest Arab TV drama hits. Last Ramadan, L'Abidine has won the hearts and minds of audiences through Taht Al Sytara (2015), which boldly highlighted the struggle of people with drug-abusing past. He also starred in Oreedu Rajolan and 24 Kirats. In Ramadan 2014, he starred in Farq Tawqeet and previously took part in Neeran Sadeqa (2013), Vertigo (2012) and Zakerat Al Gassad (2010), which featured an array of A-list stars from across the region. Originally from Tunisia, L'Abidine also starred in the Tunisian feature film Akher December (2010) and Tunisian TV series Maktoob (2008).
L'Abidine recently finished shooting his role in his first Egyptian film Esmat Abu Shanab along with star Yasmin Abdulaziz. Dhafer L'Abidine has been recently honored for his entire works by Al-Bawaba News. L'Abidine was selected by The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) as a Good will Ambassador for Arts. This selection is part of the institution's first Goodwill Ambassadors' program take off, which has been officially revealed at the organization's new headquarters inauguration ceremony in Tunisia last Tuesday, March 1st 2016.
