DOP Ahmad Al Morsy Wins Four Awards from the Australian Cinematographers Society
During an awards ceremony held on November 3, 2018, DOP Ahmad Al Morsy won four awards from the Australian Cinematographers Society (ACS), becoming the first Arab to be honored by the ACS since its inception.

The awards that Al Morsy received are the Gold Award in the Features - Cinema category, the Ross Wood Senior ACS Judges Award for Best Entry for his work on the film The Originals (Al Asleyeen), and the Gold Award in the Commercials - National / International category for his work on the Ministry of Electricity TV commercial, in addition to the Bronze Award in the Music Videos category for his work on Angham's music video Ann Farh Ghayeb.

The Australian Cinematographers Society (ACS) is a not-for-profit company, limited by guarantee, which was formed in Sydney in 1958 for the purpose of providing a forum for cinematographers to further develop their skills through mutual co-operation. The ACS holds an annual awards ceremony to honor the finest camera work in the categories of Features - Cinema, Commercials, Music Videos and others.

Most recently, Al Morsy shot Faker Zaman music video, featuring Angham and Mohamed El Sharnouby, for Orange Egypt for Telecommunications, the official sponsor of the 2nd El Gouna Film Festival. His most recent film Diamond Dust received wide audience acclaim making over EGP 32 million in Egyptian theaters. Besides, Al Morsy presented a number of advanced cinematography workshops during 2018.
