Arab Cinema Center announces 25 partners participating in the 79th Cannes Film Festival
The Arab Cinema Center (ACC) is proud to announce the participation of 25 partners at the 79th Cannes Film Festival and Marché du Film, further cementing the ACC’s role as a leading platform championing Arab cinema on the international stage.
 
This year’s participating ACC partners include the El Gouna Film Festival, Cairo International Film Festival, Double A Productions, European Film Promotion (EFP), Film AlUla, Film Clinic, Filmlab: Palestine, IEFTF, Iraq Film Fund, Iraqi Cinema, Kurdistan Film Commission, MAD 3ARABI (Arab Flow), MAD Celebrity, MAD Content, MAD Distribution, MAD Marketing, MAD Solutions, MAD World, MBC Studios, Mojo, Olivewood Film Studios, Red Star Film Production, The Imaginarium Films, The Storytellers, and Tripoli Film Festival.
 
For the 12th consecutive year, the ACC will host a rich lineup of industry activities and events throughout Cannes, bringing together filmmakers, producers, financiers, executives, and institutions from across the Arab world and beyond.
 
Among the major highlights this year is the panel Big Bets, Big Audiences! The Rise of Commercial Arab Productions, organized by the ACC and presented in partnership with MBC Studios, featuring leading industry figures, including Dhafer L’Abidine, Mohamed Hefzy, Hanaa AlOmair, Samar Akrouk, and Ali Jaafar.
 
The Kurdistan Film Commission will host several activities during the market, including the launch of the Kurdistan Film Fund, the Kurdistan Producers Circle networking event, and The Power of Place: Stories Without Borders Panel.
 
Meanwhile, the Iraq Film Fund and Iraqi Cinema will present an extensive program spotlighting the rapid growth of Iraq’s film industry, including panels on streaming, co-productions, archival preservation, and market expansion, alongside networking receptions and showcase events for Iraqi filmmakers and projects.
 
The IEFTF will support several major ACC events this year, including the 10th Critics Awards for Arab Films, while also organizing activities focused on audience development, Sudanese film projects, and documentary networking initiatives.
 
Additional ACC panels this year include Women at the Helm: Leadership and Decision-Making in the Region, Rising Forces: Arab Talent Regionally and Internationally, Business Unusual: Growth and Innovation in a Changing Landscape, and Scaling Stories: Co-Productions Driving Commercial Growth in the Region. These sessions will feature participation from several ACC partners and prominent regional and international industry professionals.
 
Several partner-backed projects and films will also screen during the Marché du Film, including EL SETT, SOPHIA, and 52 BLUE, courtesy of MAD Solutions.
 
The ACC and its partners will be present throughout the market at the ACC stand located at Palais -1, Booth 25.02.
