Amr Salama Begins Filming Young Sheikh Jackson
Director Amr Salama has finished filming Ahmed Al Fishawy and Amina Khalil's scenes in Sheikh Jackson that are part of the character's life in his youth. The film crew will now begin working on the character's teenage years as he will be portrayed by young actor Ahmed Malek.
Co-produced by The Producers and Film Clinic, Producer Mohamed Hefzy (Film Clinic) commented on the stars of the film following the end of the first stage of filming, "I would like to thank superstar Ahmed Al Fishawy for his perfect attitude and professional behavior as an experienced actor during filming. I would also like to thank superstar Amina Khalil. It has been a pleasure working with both of them."
As the actors who will film the character's teenage years are ready to begin their work, Producer Hani Osama (The Producers) expressed his enthusiasm by stating, "I am very excited to welcome the superstars who will join Sheikh Jackson's teenage years, such as superstar Maged El Kedwany and young actor Ahmed Malek. I would also like to thank all of the guest stars in the film for their enthusiasm and cooperation."
The events of the film take us back to 25 June 2009 as the news of Michael Jackson's death took the world by storm affecting many, especially a preacher who is dubbed "Jackson" during his school days. But, what does a preacher have in common with the King of Pop? More importantly, can He now go back to his normal life, or will his memories and relationships with his loved ones raise the most prominent question in his mind? Is he the Sheikh, Jackson, or both?
Co-produced by The Producers and Film Clinic, Sheikh Jackson is written and directed by Amr Salama and co-written by Omar Khaled. The film stars Ahmad Al Fishawy, Maged El Kedwany, Ahmed Malek, and Amina Khalil. The film will also feature several guest stars, including Dorra, Basma, and Mahmoud El-Bezzawy.
