Ahmad Al Fishawy Wins the Best Actor Award at the Egyptian National Film Festival
Egyptian star Ahmad Al Fishawy received the Best Actor Award at the Egyptian National Film Festival for his role in Out of Order. Produced by Al Fishawy's production company Crystal Dog, Out of Order also received the Best Actress Award (Shereen Reda) at the festival.

Marking his second award for the same role, Al Fishawy won the Best Actor Award at the 42nd Egyptian Cinema Film Association Festival earlier this year.

A psychological thriller, Out of Order takes its viewers into a new level of unusualness by depicting a dark and twisted relationship between two different people; Saeed (Al Fishawy), a hustler leading a miserable life almost like a tramp, and Hoda (Shereen Reda), a woman living alone and all she does in her life is watching.

The Egyptian National Film Festival is one of the most important Egyptian film festivals hosted by the Egyptian Ministry of Culture through the Cultural Development Fund. Annually, the festival's activities include two competitions; one for the feature films and the other for the documentary, short and animation films. The festival aims to push forward the development process of the Egyptian cinema as part of the cultural and social development process through supporting film production, encouraging creative filmmakers, and stimulating the interest in Egyptian cinema inside and outside Egypt.

Most recently, Al Fishawy is taking part in three films at the same time; Monkey Talks with Egyptian star Amr Waked; El Lea'ba Shemal, with Ghada Abdel Razek and Nahed El Sebai; and Albino, which is written by Sherif El Alfie and Somaya El Alfy, and produced by Sameh El-Agamy's Image Production Company.
