A Day for Women's Premiere Night Postponed in Commiseration with Victims of the Terrorist Attack
Shahin Film has decided to postpone the premiere night of director Kamla Abouzekri's film A Day for Women to Friday, December 16th, instead of Wednesday, in commiseration with the victims of the terrorist attacks in the country. The film will be released in Egyptian cinemas on Thursday, December the 15th.

Commenting on the decision, Producer and lead actress in the film Elham Shahin said, "It is not natural to celebrate during a time when all of Egypt is grieving its victims of the two terrorist attacks in Al Haram street and St. Peter Church in Abbassia. How long will terrorism continue to take lives? I would like to offer my heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims of these attacks. May God bless them with patience and may our country be rid of terrorism and terrorists."

Currently, A Day for Women is taking part in the 13th Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) (December 7 - 14) within the Arabian Nights programme, marking the film's GCC premiere.
