About Theeb:

Theeb is Jordanian director/writer Naji Abu Nowar's first feature film which he co-scripted with Bassel Ghandour. Set in the Arabian Desert of 1916, the film follows Theeb, a young Bedouin boy, and his brother Hussein as they leave the safety of their tribe to venture on a treacherous journey at the dawn of the Great Revolt. If Theeb is to survive he must quickly learn about adulthood, trust and betrayal. The film is distributed by MAD Solutions across the Arab world.

About Nearby Sky

Nearby Sky tells the story of Fatima Alhameli, the first Emirati Female camel owner to personally enter her Camel into the Camel Beauty Pageants and take part in camel auctions in the UAE. Regardless of all the difficulties and challenges she encountered while trying to prove herself in one of the most male dominant domains, Fatima's wish to win in a race or a beauty pageant contest remains the only compensation to overcome her failures.

The film won the Best Non-Fiction Feature Award within the Muhr Feature Competition at the Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF), in addition to taking part in the Helsinki Documentary Film Festival in Finland, the Hong Kong International Film Festival, and the Edinburgh International Film Festival. The film is distributed by MAD Solutions across the Arab world.
