Saudi Film 300 KM Competes in the Tangier International Film Festival
Saudi short film 300 KM by director Mohammed Alholayyil is going to compete in the Short Films Competition of the 10th Tangier International Film Festival (November 28 - December 2).

Hailing from a conservative community, a man, woman and child are forced to travel together in a small car to undertake the journey over a 300-km long stretch of road.

The Tangier International Film Festival aims to contribute to consolidating the cultural patrimony of this charming city as an international beacon of art and creativity, that is why the Festival began to attract more and more the filmmakers' from Morocco and the world.

The film had its world premiere at the Dubai International Film Festival 2016, where it was awarded the Special Jury Prize in the festival's Muhr Gulf Short competition. 300 KM stars Khaled Alsaqr, Zara Albalushi and Ibrahim Alhajjaj. The film is written, directed and produced by Mohammed Alholayyil and distributed by MAD Solutions in the Arab world.

Mohammed Alholayyil is a Saudi filmmaker born in 1997. His films were selected in many international film festivals and won several awards such as the Golden Palm Award at the Saudi Film Festival, Best Short Film at the Beirut International Film Festival and the Special Jury Prize at the Dubai International Film Festival.
