Saba Mubarak Joins the Jury at the International Emmy Awards for the Second Time

Jordanian star Saba Mubarak will participate for the second time in the jury of the International Emmy Awards, hosted by Abu Dhabi for the eighth round. She will meet with the members of the jury on Saturday, September 9th.

The International Emmy Awards were launched in 1969 by the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (IATAS) to recognize the excellence of television productions produced and initially performed outside the United States. Since 1973, awards have been presented regularly on an annual basis. The awards ceremony takes place in New York, as part of the Emmy Awards.

Next month, Saba will also take part in the jury for the Feature Film competition (long and short films) for the 7th Malmö Arab Film Festival in Sweden, scheduled for October 6-10, 2017.

Sabra Mubarak participated in the series "Al-Ijtiyaah" (2007) directed by Chawki Majri, the only Arab series to win the International Emmy Award so far.
