Ras El Sana's Official Teaser Trailer Reaches over 2 M Views in Less than 48 Hours

In less than 48 hours, the official teaser trailer of the film Ras El Sana, which was released by Lagoonie Film Production and Film Clinic, has reached more than 2 million views. Marking Mohamed Hefzy's return screenwriting, the film brings together a large number of stars and is slated to release in cinemas soon.

The trailer takes us into the world of the elite, portrayed with an unprecedented realism, through the last few hours of the year on the New Year's Eve in 2009 in a resort nearby Hurghada, inhabited by rich families. The trailer also features characters of lower social classes, but it leaves one important question unanswered; what will happen when these two worlds collide during the ruckus of the new year?

Lagoonie Film Production and Film Clinic have also unveiled seven posters of the main characters of Ras El Sana film. The posters' festive feature is reflected on the bright colors associated with the New Year's eve. The posters feature stars Eyad Nassar, Ahmed Malek, Basma, Shereen Reda, Ingy El Mokadem, Huda El Mufti, and Ali Kassem.

Written by writer/producer Mohamed Hefzy, Ras El Sana is the debut film for director Mohamed Ahmed Sakr. The film takes place over the course of one night in a coastal resort town where the crème de la crème celebrate the New Year in 2009. As the celebrations are underway, relationships grow more complex, and secrets are uncovered, changing the way they see themselves and those around them forever.
In addition to his rich career in film production and his work as the President of the Cairo International Film Festival, Mohamed Hafzy is one of the most important screenwriters of the current generation in Egyptian cinema. Despite the scarcity of his work in screenwriting, his films have always been successful, even years after their release, such as the films Elsellem wel te'ban, Tito, Mallaki Iskandariya, 45 Days and Aswar al-Qamar.

Ras El Sana is produced by Lagoonie Film Production, Film Clinic and distributed by New Century Production. The film is marketed by MAD Solutions.
