Mohamed Khan's Before the Summer Crowds to Premiere with the Attendance of the Film's Stars


Director Mohamed Khan celebrated the premiere of his new film Before the Summer Crowds on Sunday, April 10th alongside the film cast including; Maged El Kedwany,
Hana Shiha, Ahmed Dawood, Lana Mushtaq and Hany El Metennawy, in addition to writer Ghada Shahbandar and producers Mohamed Hefzy, Wael Omar and Hani Osama. This comes amidst the attendance of an array of filmmakers, stars, critics and journalists right before the film's release in Egyptian theaters on Wednesday April 13th.

The screening witnessed the attendance of, stars Kinda Alloush, Ahmed Magdy, Ali Sobhy, Amr Abed, Karim Kassem, Ahmed Hatem, Emy, Tara Emad, Sabry Fawwaz and Ola Rushdy; directors Khairy Beshara, Daoud Abdel Sayed, Ahmed Wael, Ahmad Abdalla, Magy Morgan and Ayten Amin; singers Ali Elhelbawy, Zap Tharwat, Bushra, MTM band alongside composer Georges Kazazian; script writers Mariam Naoum, Mohamed Amin Rady and Mohammed Abd Elmoaty; TV presenters Lilian Daoud and Tameem Youness, in addition to, film critics Nader Adly, Ahmed Shawky, Osama Abdel Fattah and Counseling and Occupational Psychologist Dr. Georgette Savvides.

MAD Solutions, the film's distributor, has previously revealed the release date of the film simultaneously with the film's new trailer. This was announced right after the release of the first teaser trailer during the film's world premiere at the 12th Dubai International Film Festival last December 2015.

In March, Before the Summer Crowds was selected for the closing night screening by the 5th Luxor African Film Festival competing within the Long Narrative Films competition.

Before the Summer Crowds is co-written by Ghada Shahbandar and Nura El Sheikh, who also participated in the screenwriting. The film stars Maged El Kedwany, Hana Shiha, Ahmed Dawood, Lana Mushtaq and Hany El Metennawy. Set in a seaside resort, the film tracks a group of people who meet each other by the beginning of the summer season.

The film is co-produced by five production houses, Middle West Films, Film Clinic, The Producers, Wika for Film Production and Distribution and MAD Solutions, which will take charge of the film's international distribution through its distribution arm: MAD Distribution.

In December 2015, director Mohamed Khan's film Before the Summer Crowds landed its world premiere at the heart of the 12th Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) where it was selected to compete in the Muhr Feature Films Competition, which previously hosted the world premiere of Khan's previous award-winning film, Factory Girl, in 2013.
