I'll Go To Hell Film Project Wins MAD Solutions Award at Malmo Arab Film Festival
Tunisian film project I'll Go To Hell by director Ismahane Lahmar has won the MAD Solutions award, which is presented to one of the winning film projects at the MAFF Industry Days (MID), held on the margins of the 11th Malmo Arab Film Festival in Sweden. The award offers the winning film project 5,000 USD MG for distribution services and sales in the Arab World and marketing services package for the film. This is the seventh year in a row for MAD Solutions to present its Award to one of the winning film projects at the MID.

The project has also won a Color grading service equal to USD 10,000 presented by The Cell Post Production.

The film tells the story of Najet, whom the doctors say that she will die soon, so she decides to take the rest of her life head-on, instead of giving in to self-pity. Najet begins to organize for her big departure, as she doesn’t like to be buried in a white shroud and end up eaten by worms, however, her family opposes her wishes.

Franco-Tunisian director and screenwriter, and newly producer, Ismahane Lahmar was born in Paris, trained at the Superior School of Audiovisual Production (ESRA) from Paris, and obtained her master's degree in audiovisual production in New York. Ismahane has made short films, which have been seen at several international film festivals. In 2017, she directed a Tunisian comedy for ICFLIX, "WOH". In 2019, Ismahane opened her production company, Madame Prod in which she develops and supports women's projects. She founded "Le cinema Au Feminin", a unique training program that combines cinema and personal development. It is a program that trains women from disadvantaged backgrounds in the film industry on the preparation, shooting and post-production of a film.
