Customary Session World Premieres at Arab Short Film Festival
Directed by Elhamy Fyroz, short film Customary Session lands its world premiere at the 15th edition of Arab Short Film Festival (Dec.6-10) on Thursday, Dec.9, at 7:30PM, Cinema Montaigne.
A housewife who lives in a popular district discovers that she has AIDS, transmitted to her by her husband, a drug addict. Fearing infection, everyone in the neighborhood will agree on expelling them.
Written and directed by Elhamy Fyroz, Customary Session stars Mahmod Fares , Yara Mahdy and Manal Yousry. It’s lensed by Crolos talat and edited by Nada Elsbaay. MAD Solutions handles the film’s distribution.
Organized by Nadi Lekol Nas ( Club for All People), Arab Short Film Festival is an event that aims to create a space to display cinematic achievements of young filmmakers from Lebanon and the Arab World.During the festival, film audiences meet with young talents from different backgrounds during film screenings and discussions. This offers the young participants the opportunity to express their skills and showcase their experiences in the short film industry.
