Warda Grants 200 Giveaways to the Audience
MAD Solutions, the distributor of Warda, has started 3 innovative competitions in Cairo and the Egyptian governorates across the internet, TV stations, outdoor billboards and public transportation. The company has released the new film in theatres yesterday.
Warda's giveaways include more than 200 items with a varied collection of promotional items in addition to free invitations to see the film.
The first competition is done in collaboration with Filfan website, where audiences should tell their own spooky stories and disclose their creepy encounters with ghosts and mysterious apparitions. The participant with the scariest story that scores the highest number of likes will win Warda's giveaways.
As for the second competition, a Warda Man will be touring Egyptian streets, offering promotional items and giveaways to those who can recognize him. The place where Warda Man will show up will be announced on the film's official page on Facebook based on the viewers' requests. Already set off his tour in Zamalek, Maadi and Nasr City, Warda Man's round trips are still on.
The third competition, which will be posted soon on the film's social media pages, is about compiling photos for Warda. In this competition, the contestants should take a collective selfie with the posters of Warda which are widely spread in theatres, on buses, on TV ads, and outdoor billboards as well as the internet. The contenders should send 4 of these photos to Warda's official Facebook page.
Warda was released yesterday November 13th, 2014, in theatres across Egypt, the UAE and Oman. The film premiered simultaneously at 07:00 pm, Cairo time, and in the GCC countries at 09:00 pm, Gulf time.
Directed by Hadi El Bagoury and written by Mohamed Hefzy, Warda is produced by The Producers and Film Clinic, in co-production with Aroma Pictures.
