WAMA Collaborates with The Producers in Their New Music Video


Egypt's leading boy band WAMA collaborates with The Producers in their new music video, marking their comeback to the company that catapulted them to stardom with their successful debut video
Ya Leil, which was directed by Hadi El Bagoury, co-founder at The Producers.

The new music video is featuring one of the songs included in WAMA's new album, Kan Yama Kan, marking the band's comeback to the music scene. Produced by Cube Music, the new album and video will be released soon.

Launching a new division to support celebrities and music talents, The Producers collaborates with WAMA. In this respect, co- founder and Executive Producer Hani Osama commented, "WAMA is one of the most prominent talents in contemporary music in the Arab world. Our new collaboration with WAMA highlights their high profile as a leading boy band in the Arab world and incessant fame with an increasingly growing fan-base in the Arab world. We will resume our search for new talents with flair for music in Egypt and across the Arab world especially with the tremendous ongoing development in music over the course of the past few years".

Wama is Egypt's most prominent boyband in the Arab world with a record of 3 albums and several singles, participating in more than 1000 live performances in Egypt and 20 concerts across the world.

Before officially establishing themselves as a pop-music band, WAMA's lifelong passion for music kindled since their childhood. Taking their dream a step further, the bandmates Mohamed Nour and Ahmed Fahmi determined to form their own band which was later joined by Nader Hamdy and Ahmed Shamy, who first suggested the band's name which is made up of the initials of each member's name.
2003 witnessed the official breakout of WAMA when they debut album Ya Leil, which propelled the band to stardom. The album included 7 songs in addition to their hit Ya Leil, which was filmed in a music video by El Bagoury to be a massive success and screened on several satellite stations.

In 2005, the aspiring band released their breakthrough album of all time Ya Ghaly Alaya, where 3 out of 8 songs were shot as music videos. The album was a huge hit in Egyptian and Arab music markets with several songs topping the Arab and Egyptian charts at that time. Tehlefly Asadaa was on the top of most of top 10 lists on radio and TV for 5 successive weeks. By 2010, WAMA launched their third album Rayha Gaya, which included 10 songs.

Moreover, the boy band made a string of singles the most remarkable of which are Zay Ma Bahlam, the video of which was a huge success; the religious video hit Kan Nefsy, Masr El Habeiba and Seena, in addition to their most recent single Leeh La?. WAMA also performed two songs for Ahmed El Sakka's hit Tito (2004); Meshwar Taweel and Atr El Haya. Likewise, they also performed Emel A'beit, the theme song the TV drama Bab Al Khalq (2012), making it the first time for a band to sing for a TV series.
