Two Workshops by Producer-Writer Mohamed Hefzy at the Kuwait Film Festiva-


Producer/Writer Mohamed Hefzy will be attending the events of the first edition of the Kuwait Film Festival (KFF) (24-28 March). On the 25th, Hefzy will be conducting a seminar about script-writing and on the 26th he will be conducting a workshop about creative producing.

After the KFF, Mohamed Hefzy will be supervising the three-day workshop for young filmmakers entitled, "Creative Production and Alternative Distribution Workshop". The workshop will be conducted by American producer Nicolas Gonda, producer of The Tree of Life by American director Terrence Malick who won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival. The workshop is granted by the US Embassy in Cairo in cooperation with Global Media Makers, and is organized by Mohamed Hefzy, through his company, Film Clinic in cooperation with the Arab Film Institute.

The Creative Production and Alternative Distribution Workshop targets filmmakers/producers who are currently working on their film projects and should have a previous experience in directing or producing at least one film; whether a fiction or documentary, long or short. The participant's age should range from 21 to 45 years old and they don't have to speak English as the workshop will be interpreted into Arabic.

Kuwait Film Festival (KFF) is the first and leading film festival in Kuwait which is organized by the Kuwaiti National Council of Culture, Arts and Literature.
