Screenwriter Mohammed Abdelmoaty Collaborates with Ghada Abdel Razek on Ard Gaw TV Series


Screenwriter Mohammed Abdelmoaty entered the Ramadan race this year with his new TV series Ard Gaw; starring Ghada Abdel Razek, directed by Mohamed Gomaa and produced by Tamer Morsi (Synergy Art Production). In Ramadan 2016, Abdelmoaty competed with the TV hit Al Ostoora (The Legend); featuring Egyptian star Mohamed Ramadan. Al Ostoora was a phenomenal success in Egypt, and in Emirates as it was the most searched Egyptian TV series on Google Emirates. Abdelmoaty earned the title of the Best Screenwriter of 2016 in many surveys for Al Ostoora.

Abdelmoaty has announced that he is almost finished with writing the screenplay, and he made a promise to the audience, "I promise that you are going to watch a different drama this year as this TV series is full of suspense and exciting events. The new TV series is about aviation and its workers, which is a different topic that wasn't dramatically discussed before."

Abdelmoaty expressed his pleasure in working with the TV series' star saying, "I'm proud of my first collaboration with star Ghada Abdel Razek and I hope that it won't be our last collaboration." The new TV series features stars Abbas Aboelhassan, Feriel Youssef, Mohamed Karim, Ahmed Fouad Selim, Abdel Rahman Abou Zahra, Maha Abou Ouf and Ahmed Abdel Wareth. This is the latest TV series starring Egyptian actress Ghada Abdel Razek since El Khanka in Ramadan 2016.

Mohammed Abdelmoaty is an Egyptian writer who attracted attention to him in 2015 with his second film Sukkar Mor directed by Hani Khalifa and starring Ahmad Al Fishawy, Haitham Ahmed Zaki, Ayten Amer, Shery Adel, Karim Fahmy and Nahed El Sebai. Sukkar Mor was a major box office hit that gained wide critical acclaim, participating in seven film festivals in Sweden, Canada, Tunisia, Morocco, and Egypt. The film has also earned the title Best Film of 2015 in several surveys. The film has won Abdelmoaty many awards and honors including FilFan.com Award for Best Writer 2015. In 2014, Egyptian theatres had received his first film Al Mahragan, which was inspired by the true story of the occurrence of the Sha'abi/Ghetto music that had sprung up in the slums of Egypt, starring Amina Khalil and Ramy Gheit.
